"I decided to finally try acupuncture after years of sinus problems. I had been to numerous ENT doctors and allergists who told me nothing was structurally wrong with my sinuses and that I just had seasonal allergies. "A friend of mine had gone to Gabriel for her sinus infections and had very positive results so I decided to give Gabriel a try. My first appointment we spent 30 minutes just talking about my symptoms, what I had tried so far and my diet! None of the doctors had ever asked about my diet. All of the allergy tests had been testing external factors, not internal factors and no one had ever asked me about what I could be ingesting that may be causing all of my mucus. Gabriel suggested I cut out diary (as it turned out I was actually consuming quite a bit of it). I had about 6 treatments (which were the most relaxing and peaceful experiences of my life), Gabriel explained everything he was doing and why, he answered any questions I had and created an atmosphere where I was able to completely relax and allow my body to experience the healing power of the acupuncture. I have been a patient of Gabriel's since 2005. When I first came to the Center, I had been to at least half a dozen traditional doctors, trying to diagnose my physical issues, with no luck. I had very little contact with eastern medicine and was skeptical, but desperate.
Gabriel was professional and as approachable as they come. He listened attentively and took a great deal of time listening and learning about my life, issues and triggers. He was very pragmatic regarding his diagnosis and what he thought I could, and would do based on my hectic lifestyle. I can't express how much acupuncture has changed my life. Since I started seeing Gabriel I have felt like my mind and body are connected again.
